Rainbow bridge along Hwy 55 was renovated in 2007-08 by the Idaho Transportation Department in its original style after becoming quite damaged by snow removal and use. The ITD did an amazing job and, along with the BAP, won a Preservation Idaho Orchid Award and the AASLH Award of Merit in 2008 for its wonderful work.

I'd say Rainbow Bridge has an almost Gothic/post-modern style based on the railing. This bridge also takes a beating from snow plows when they scrape the interior rail. There have been several bomb threats, which thankfully have turned out to be geocaches.
